Like Heaven Without God is a documentary about five Berkeley residents in a homeless RV community who struggle to survive on the margins of society. Soon they will be forced to move out of the parking lot that they have called home over the past year.

Once again, the residents are reborn in the night. Next door 

lost souls drift through a railroad for cargo trains. 

The city of San Francisco is an unreachable island in the middle of the ocean. The day comes to an end and in the sky, a flock of birds seems to fly free, but can’t escape from the Bay.

 

Lives at stake



As the world's most civilized society has decided there is no space for these shadows, this parking lot might be the only microcosmos to seek safety.
